I can talk all day about how much I love being a wedding + couples photographer, serving others, and the excitement I get of meeting new people but all of that should be a given. So instead, I’ll tell you a little bit more about who I am! You spend all day with your wedding photographer so it’s important to know our friendship is compatible! - Denise
My Story
Also, I’ll give you the long story short, ready?! Ok so—I had an office job in 2021. I felt stuck. I wanted more. So I left. Now unemployed. I gave myself a whole month off to figure something. So I took a random course to learn about camera settings. Then BOOM, I asked people if they could model for me as practice and haven’t stopped shooting since.
The love of documenting life’s most memorable moments was inherited by my mother. Thanks to her, at a very young age I fell in love with freezing memories that we can all cherish forever and ever. It’s been almost 5 years into photographing weddings, happiness and love; and God willingly, it’ll be a lifetime more!

My name is Denise and it’s okay that you thought my name was Viva, I get that quite often lol! I’m a proud Latina who comes from a family full of hard workers and entrepreneurs! 26 years young and I couldn’t be any more grateful with the life God has gifted me. I can never let a day go by where I don’t thank Him for the things I have and don’t have.
Who I am

Most of my loved ones have described me as a jack of all trades. I love learning new things and getting into new hobbies! Once you see me hit the dance floor, it’ll be hard to take me off of it. Dancing is the way I can best express myself! And if you ask what my current project, it’s reading/studying the entire bible in a year. My perfect afternoon would consist of getting ice cream or sipping on some fresh agua de Piña during the summer, and then roller skating my life away to my favorite jams! (On repeat is Milgaros by Karol G, it’s my current theme song!). Oh and, dancing. Have I mentioned that I love to dance?!

Hiring me, you get a professional who’s a peoples person, a patient work soul, and a friend you can lean on for help or advice. I have a strong background working in customer service; serving my clients is my top priority. I’m prepared for those fast-paced, unpredictable environments, diverse family dynamics and anything else a wedding day can throw at me! I would describe my photography as a perfect combination of journalism and raw emotion. I love creating art through my thoughtful composition and posing but I adore documenting candid moments as they roll out.

As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, the one and true God, I run my business based off integrity and truth. Being a servant of God means serving His people as well. I think all experiences, including challenges, doubts, and fears, contribute to your growth. Tough times make you stronger and wiser and just like James 1:2-4 says, “2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
